Stay Positive in the Face of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Malaysia has been on lockdown since March 18th. California’s just announced its own lockdown on millions of Californians yesterday. China’s been on their toes since the beginning and Europe is on high alert since Covid-19’s deleterious spread.

The world has gone on, therefore, to firmly predicate new Movement Control Orders in order to flatten the curve.

Instead of panicking, I think we should play a bigger role in stewarding common-sense actions and reactions amongst our family and friends. Offer them assurance, ask them to verify information, share your experiences and tips, and help them stay positive during the turmoil.

The World on Lockdown

The state of emergency we’re going through right now is capricious. It’s not the time to swim against the tide.

Instead, we should work with local and global authorities because we have yet to come up with a swiss army knife solution for this pandemic.

(No) Thanks to some irresponsible individuals, Malaysia went from a ‘nothing-to-worry-about-country’ to one of the highest in Asia in a mere couple of days, which is the reason for the sudden lockdown. We now have to hew to the words of those who know best.
