Let’s Get Excited About Happiness

First off, I think we’re all kind of anxious, worried, unsure about what’s ahead of us, fleeting between being ‘eff it all’ to ‘I’ve run out of tomato sauce’.

As it turns out, a lot of people, whether they have a job, run projects, have businesses, invest in businesses and startups, or in-between, they’re all feeling some form of loss and confusion too.

I know the kind of feelings and thoughts to associate this emotion with…pain.

For the record, I am writing this during one of the darkest periods in world history — the Covid-19 pandemic and a wildfire-style BLM movement.

Splendid.

At least, we’re inching our way out of our months-long craven way of life.

In light of the situation that we’re in, I was thinking to myself that we could use a little bit of positivity. Some blinding light that can help us prattle on a little braver.

“In each of us lie good and bad, light and dark, art and pain, choice and regret, cruelty and sacrifice… No one can live in the light all the time.” ~ Libba Bray

The Story of Ruth and her Cancer

I read a story of Ruth and her husband’s struggle with cancer one day and it gave me some strength. So, I thought I’d share it!
