Abandoned by Google

Even if I wanted to avoid it, as a Creative, I might have to embrace this. This whole Artificial Intelligence shizz. It’s like you’ve loved coffee all your life but one day someone says, “No, there’s only soy latte with organically-farmed hazelnut sprinkles and farm-fresh cream. And American boba. Nothing else”.

Honestly, I feel a bit ill about this. Especially when I’ve spent 25 years of my life dedicated to figuring out search engines and algorithms. Now that Google is not even sure about where we are going with this, who am I to say I know what to do for small businesses.

I will write stories on images so that they are copyrighted, and then get on patreon. That’s one way to get support from normal people and not bots. Vidoes? Mmmmmmm…. OK. Definitely not AI.

Disappointed with Google. It has been feeding off back off of us, content creators, and now we’re not going to be credited for what we do? So your game plan is to stick to go for the wolves and hope for the lamb tribe? What are we doing?

Just saw some ads using very dubious AI-aided images, videos, and voice overs and cringed so bad. Where are we going with this? GOOGLE!
